So I have to do literature surveys and the stuff you come across.....
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/pathways/blackhistory/work_community/docs/belisarius_list.htm
This is the manifest for Belisarius, a ship that set sail for Sierra Leone in 1787. The transcript below shows a transcript of the manifest. Whilst for hundreds of years interracial marriages in the US were illegal (as recently 1967 in Virginia) the manifest shows that black women were married to white men and black men were married in Britain from at least the 1800's. The relationship of British Blacks to British Whites are different to that of our American cousins.
Unfortunately the story does not end well of the 350 people who sailed only 60 survived. Some dieing during the voyage, others at the hand of slave traders, native people, the climate or disease.
